So, the news is out and Sania Mirza is all set to tie the knot with Pakistani Cricketer Shoaib Malik. But what about reports of his alleged marriage with another women. Surely, the Mirzas are aware of the reports. And boy, Shoiab would have done some talking to get past that. All you guys out there, we have something to learn from him. The guy just walked away with India’s most wanted bride, and now she is willing to move out of the country with him.
Alright, before you start judging me for commenting on a private affair, let’s get the facts straight. Shoiab was surely married to this women Ayesha (also from Hyerdabad), and my source is not a Page-3 report. I saw this interview of Shoiab with commentator Arun Lal where Shoib expressed his happiness on doing well in a match in Hyderabad. He went on to say that Hyderabad was his wife’s home town. So all talk of him slamming Ayesha’s family fall flat.
There are two possibilities now. Either he is lying about his past or he is plain dumb.
If the wedding did happen, where’s the proof for that. Was the father of the girl that dumb to take the guy’s word as a commitment and insist on a legal document? If he was that dumb then he certainly deserves every bit of what he is getting now. Now, he has had enough with his never present son-in-law and wants a divorce, so that his daughter can get married again. If there is no legal document for marriage, how can one grant divorce for this marriage. The father wants to take up this issue with the All India Muslim Personal Law Board and issue a fatwa against Shoaib. The girl’s father has appealed to Shoiab to stop this emotional harassment.
Surely we all agree with him. Seeing your daughter married, however strange it may be, and finding out that the bride-groom has ditched you for good, is hard on any father.
Ayesha’s father says that the marriage took place via phone. Hehe, marriage through a phone? (Thanks Shoaib for stretching the limits of technology) So, how did the first night take place, through the internet?
