If there is no legal document for marriage, how can one grant divorce for this marriage. The father wants to take up this issue with the All India Muslim Personal Law Board and issue a fatwa against Shoaib. The girl’s father has appealed to Shoiab to stop this emotional harassment.

Surely we all agree with him. Seeing your daughter married, however strange it may be,  and finding out that the bride-groom has ditched you for good, is hard on any father.
